The province of Santiago has diverse companies that offer both residential and commecial telephone and wireless communications.

Main Phone Companies

CLARO CODETEL (Formely VERIZON)
The major telephone company in the Dominican Republic. It controls the majority of the residential, commercial and public telephones of the province. The main office is located on Santiago City as well many services agencies located across the province. It offers residential and commercial phone services, Telecommunication services, wireless communications and Internet services.

TRICOM:
Second telephone company located on the province. It offers the same services like Codetel.

There are also other phone companies located in Santiago. These companies offer wireless communications. Both CODETEL and TRICOM offer wireless solutions too. Two of the most popular companies that offer cell phone communications are ORANGE and the newly established CENTENNIAL.
