Santiago offers a wide list of places to eat out. The restaurants give a variety of plates from local, national and international flavors. There are also fast food restaurants which offers national and international brands foods. Some fast foods are sold on the street on some streetcars. Dominican fried foods such as "Yaniqueque", "Chimi Churry", "Ricki Taky", "Yum Yum", and others are found on those temporary streetcars located on any corner of the Downtown area, Monument area or any place around the city. Those small fast food streetcars operates during the evening time or during the weekends though few of them appear during certain time of the day. Also, there are many ice cream places, cafeterias and fried chicken restaurants throughout the town and the whole province. Note: the below list are SOME of the restaurants and places to eat located on Santiago City area only.
